I'm in the middle of a bus lane (on the recumbent) when I see a car in the lane to my right start to signal left whilst alongside me. Despite a prolonged Airzound blast as soon as I saw her indicating, she still starts to pull in towards me. Another blast of the horn, and now I have to break hard and let her pull right across me. I turn left, quickly catch her up, give another blast on the horn, and she pulls over.

I must confess to being pretty wound up, but I tell myself to remain calm and just explain verbally why she's just made a serious mistake. She doesn't wind down her window, but holds her hand up and mouths 'sorry'. As she also had a small child in the car, I watch the language, and just point out that, had I not braked and let her cut across me, then I would've been straight under her wheels, and possibly killed. Again an apology, to which I just gave the old 2 finger point at my eyes, and told her to for gawds sake LOOK! and be more careful in future.

I think she just completely underestimated my speed (30 ish, in a 40 zone) and in future I'll hang out even more to the right of the bus lane whenever there's a left turn coming up.......unfortunately, this will p155 off the buses and taxis, but being more visible comes first!

I agree that she probably underestimated your speed IF you were in the same lane, but alongside???

I know this will sound sexit, but probably checkingout her appearance in the RVM or the make-up mirror they now put on the drivers side these days.
I had similar, IN MY CAR, when one was applying lip-gloss on approach to a RAB.

Glad youre OK.
