The North Coast 500 road trip route has been featured as one of the main reasons why Scotland is in the top 10 "must see" countries in 2017, according to Rough Guides. BBC link.
So that's that scored off my list of things to do then. Accommodation costs will rocket (or be unavailable at peak times due to the limited number of guest houses and hotels), and the roads will be much busier, thus negating one of the reasons for it being attractive in the first place!
That's the problem with us Scots; we're just too nice and hospitable to you bliddy foreign types - why don't you just sod off and clog up the roads in the lake district! Oh wait..........
