The catalogue image i found has Bluemells Classique gaurds on black full sized, i do love the weinmann shorties, using them on my Carlton and need to swap over soon for the silly season

I expect you know that the Viking in the original post is one from the second evocation of Viking, being the ones built in Northern Ireland. They were decent enough bikes, but the Wolverhampton ones from the firm that closed in 1966 have a bit more cachet. The more recent ones are assembled from poor-quality far-eastern components and are not to be recommended.
