    If he had, he'd be screaming about his innocence now and blaming the hospital. His immidiate retreat into hiding only confirms the inevitable.

    i don't think he has 'retreated' as you say, Astana were asked to leave the tour.

    As said by Francaise des Jeux team manager Marc Madiot:

    "A surprise? Not really!"

    Ah well, that's buggered that, then. I guess all those Basques seen cheering him on and slapping his back on the last stage are wishing they hadn't bothered now.

    I don't think this makes it any worse than it already was.

    Anyone who truly believes that the lab results of the first failed test were awry is living in a large river in Egypt right now!

    I see he's denied it. Hamilton mark 2. Very brave Vino.

    Is he Hamiltons brother?
    look at one of the reasons he's come up with...

    "I think it's a mistake in part due to my crash. I have spoken to the team doctors who had a hypothesis that there was an enormous amount of blood in my thighs, which could have led to my positive test."
    :biggrin::blush:

    If he's had 2 positives I don't think there is a lot of chance he will be able to turn that around!!!!!

    Yes, I thought that, but then remembered that this is the Marc Madiot who claimed that Paul Kimmage's allegations were to be expected from a bitter, lowly rider who had never won anything.

    Looks like I'd better go for a blood test. I too have blood in my thighs, but I never thought it could be someone else's!

    Idiot.
