They were of 'variable' build quality. Legend has it that a school in East Anglia made some frames in their metalwork lessons.
A good one will have no crack in the frame under the seat, a repaired one will show some kind of repair there.

There doesn’t seem to be much of a market in “vintage” recumbents, unless it’s something from the 1930s. Plus the Trice you show has clearly been much modified over the years... eg it looks like it has a Nuvinci hub gear. Probably of interest to someone wanting to dip a toe in the recumbent world who doesn’t want to spend a lot of money, but I don’t think there will likely be a market for collectors. An exception might be for the later (but pre ICE) handbuilt trikes with fancy lugwork and expensive tubing. I’d happily put down good money for, say, a Trice Micro...

Only ICE made the hand-built custom made frames with fancy lugwork and proper tubing fit for purpose :secret:
Ebay would be the best place to market the trike ...assuming it's a disposal sale from a deceased estate ??
Or if you have purchased or intend to purchase ....buyer beware
Unless it was a few quid :highfive:
