It always puzzled me how i WAS fair haired (now a lovely shade of grey) yet I have 7 children with red hair, 5 with very dark hair and the other 8 are auburn.

I always used condoms.
I asked the milkman for his advice as he is redheaded.
I then asked the bread man as he is dark haired and finally my auburn haired neighbour......all to no avail.

My Dad was a redhead with brown eyes, but my Mum and 2 siblings were... Are... Dark brown haired with brown eyes... And yet, I am blonde with blue/grey eyes.

Red hair runs in my mother's family. It's skipped her and me but it's appeared in my daughter. Her children are blonde though.
