all excited as I've never seen an aerospace Mixte, just the bog standard Sebring. Owner mum bought it between 1980 and 1982 and was lilac originally but a scratch on the paintwork prompted them to get it resprayed.
Best part of collecting was the Mercian I got shown. Had to admit I did drool a little as it was excellent.

Anyway pictures of the Mixte and hopefully try and get the model I'd'd.

Had a quick ride on it today. Felt pretty good but maybe a little twitchy. I don't think the large non standard flat bar helps.

Also impressed on the quick release thingy for the front centerpull brakes. It definitely helps getting the front wheel on/off.

My money is that the twitch is down to the short "stem"

Try changing the bars as well. I found my wife's bike to be very twichy with it's enormous bars and it is a right pain in my garage with those sticky out things.

I think you'll find that these were pretty much a standard fitting on Dia Compe and some Weinmann brake sets
