Both of those are lovely.

I was offered a Viscount a few years ago by a guy I was buying some Pace forks from, I was not into road bikes back then and had no idea what a Viscount was so I politely declined....... oh dear.

Funny seeing that invoice. Bristow still exist though now moved, they're 1/2 from me and brought a couple bikes from them.
The original buyer of the Viscount, I lived in the next street to Pendleton one year after he brought it. Never met him of course.
Lovely looking bike.

I tour on mine but it definitely is not original. It came to me as just a frame, no components or forks. I think the fork I have belongs to an old Dawes. Modern wheels and Shimano hubs, Stronglight chainset, Dia-Compe brakes, ITM bars and stem, Shimano Exage brake levers, Suntour friction DT shifters, Shimano Exage rear mech, Huret front mech. A bit of a parts bin special but it rides really well.
