Anyone got any experience of the Vitus singlespeed?

I definately don't need a new bike, but tempted as a winter run around

No experience at all but for three hundred notes you can't really go wrong. The only weak point might be the tyres which will have poor puncture resistance but that's par for the course on bikes at this price.
Even got mounts for guards and a rack.

Certainly a bargain at £300, but if you start upgrading bits, cost could creep up. Could be better off on the 2nd hand market.

Noticed that it has a 38x18 set up, which must be a 55" gear. This would be too low for me on the flat and moderate hills. Something to think about.
