Jonas is still not looking pogacar beating to me ? What do you think ?
Still difficult to tell IMO. Remco and Almeida - probably the biggest GC threats out there after Jonas and Pog (maybe Ayuso in the mix as well) just weren't at the races for various reasons, so getting an accurate triangulation is tricky. Lipowitz on his day is a superb climber and could get himself into top GC company. He lacks a big win but his 3rd at the TdF last year was a marker, even if it was 6.5 mins after Jonas.
To me, Jonas is looking very comfortable, but hasn't really pushed it yet. Nobody's posting up numbers though, so who knows? It's all by eye.
Obviously, nobody really knows what "Pog beating form" might look like, other than you'd probably need a spoiler on the back of your bike.
Incidentally, the message coming out of the Vingegaard camp is that his form entering the Vuelta after the Tour has actually improved a little (both times), so the Giro will work for him as a warm up. Believe that if you want, I'd take it with a pinch of salt
