I need to get a birthday present for someone in Edinburgh and was thinking of vouchers which would be usable at any of the main Edinburgh venues. They would need to be valid for months, preferably a year, and not tied to a particular type of performance.
All I have been able to find so far are http://www.theatregiftvouchers.co.uk which are only valid at five theatres (i.e. not the concert halls) and I wondered if anyone knows of any other supplier. Usher Hall, for instance, tell me they don't any such scheme, nor can I find anything on Scottish Opera's website. Not having done it before, I'm a little wary of throwing money at some outfit who promise to provide tickets for anything anywhere in the world.
Can any of Scotland's cultural elite help?
