Hi all. I'm currently considering a Wahoo KickR and the biggest single issue stopping me from pressing the order button is the worry over noise levels. I live in a flat and have neighbours, I don't want to buy this and then discover it's unusable due to this issue. I already suspect I couldn't use it too early or late in the day.
I've watched DC Rainmakers Decibel test and it appears to make 70-80db of noise constantly. That's as much as my (pretty loud) hoover and from watching other videos this appears to rise when pushed hard. Also the type of high pitched noise will travel and grate. Could I sensibly watch TV when the other half is using the trainer ?
Would love to hear some real world feedback.
Finally - I see that Tacx have announced the "Neo" and that this has the potential to be much quieter, so the chances are I will at least wait for initial reviews before splashing out either way.
