For specific reasons I don’t want to stick main bike on a kickr

Have a giant escape hybrid I want to stick on (7 speed tourney) - anyone managed a setup like this?

Kickr/Kickr Core or Kickr Snap?

If the former then you'd need a compatible cassette and to ensure the spacing is set correctly and it should work fine. The latter is easier, just put the bike in the trainer.

Edit to add: by compatible cassette I mean you need the cassette and all the appropriate spacers for an 11 speed freehub, same as if you were fitting a 10sp cassette to an 11 speed freehub.

No experience with Kickr but at the moment I have an old 90s MTB with 7 speed cassette on the Tacx Neo, triple front, put on temporary but I like the set up so it may stay there.
