Ok so the one that goes with your rear wheel & not on the pedals: https://uk.wahoofitness.com/devices/bike-sensors/bluetooth-speed-sensor

The plastic casing on mine has somehow cracked & it's only a little over 12 months old. No idea how. I don't much fancy taking it out on a ride & losing it so I'll need a replacement.

I saw one online that I thought would do but it got lowly stars - review said not compatible with Wahoo.

So to save faffing about buying 101 that don't fit, I thought I'd see if anyone here has had to buy a replacement for their Wahoo sensor (& where you bought from)?

I saw those.
But they look like the one I saw that had lowly reviews saying not compatible with Wahoo sensor.

Have you contact Wahoo they are quite good at stuff like this ? May offer a replacement or one a bit cheaper.

No I was pushed for time really & my thinking was it could be quicker/cheaper to get something ordered elsewhere. Was dependent on someone having bought said sensor holder though & confirming it works well with Wahoo sensors.

Definitely contact wahoo, their customer service is excellent. They'll probably send you a new sensor.

Yeah I can't fault their CS to be honest. Gave me a 40% discount code when my bike computer broke in an accident I had. Just a shame it's not eligible on the new Roam. I was just hoping to get something a little quicker.

I'll message them in the morning & in the meantime see how I get on with cable ties.

Silly question but does the Wahoo not take the speed from the change in GPS position just like Garmin units?

Speed sensors give more accurate numbers for speed and distance than gps alone.

Or 'pretend figures for those on rollers, etc. :okay:

Garmins offer the same.
