I think it's bound to feel a bit different at first, but at least there are all the same topics and people - it's really just like having redecorated, or reorganised the kitchen. You keep going to the old drawer for the lemon squeezer, even weeks later...

Sorry everyone, bit late for the breakfast as I've been busy twiddling and taking everyone's comments on board.

Thanks for the feedback and support - and yes, it was a change to enable the future expansion of CC.

The previous forum software was at the end of its life and no longer being developed (and soon to be no longer supported by the developer).

I looked at the latest version of vBulletin but it's a mess - bugs galore and still not stable after 9 months of work (there's a whole other story behind it all, but I won't bore you with the details).

Suffice to say, IPBoard was the best alternative and I'm sure it'll keep us in good stead for years to come.

I still have a mountain of work to do and a lot of the things you've been used to should make a welcome return - you'll just have to give me a bit of time to attack each thing on the to-do list (which now has more sheets to it that the stuff that puppy pulls around in the telly ads !!!!) ...

I'll also put a lighter skin in place too as I understand the new one sticks out like a sore thumb (not necessarily a good thing at work ...).

Keep telling me about things you like or don't like as all the feedback helps to shape CC into a place you all want to keep coming to.

Oh, and can you make it a Full English please ... with a large mug of coffee and extra toast ... thanks.

Cheers,
Shaun
