Wales NCR 5 & 8

Hi new to forum but been riding long distance cycle routes now for some years mainly in North Wales so some experance of long distance travel

We group of six are doing NCR 5 & 8 in september from Rhyl to Cardiff and back, camping on route etc know pretty well the route to Rhyl - Harlech but any advice after is wellcome.

We've worked out the route, campsites, alternative campsites, shops cycle shops for spares, so got all that, what I'am after is are there many parts of NCR 8 which take in main roads dangerous bits, we prefer to stick to cycleways as much as possible.
