Your original prediction wasnt far out.

Some sloppy passing from Mike Phillips didnt help.

Good match to watch anyway

as I was brought up in Wales but am English by birth its difficult to know who to shout for tonight.

My heart says Wales to thrash England but with a weakened side its gonna be head that wins over and i guess Wales 13 England 19

I was also born in England and brought up in Wales, but because of the the way I was treated at the school I went to by others in my class because I'm English, I'd never support the Welsh in anything. I wouldn't mind, but I could speak the language better than most of them at the time.

Just out of interest, where in Wales were you brought up?

What a good night by the way. I noticed the crowd were quiet for most of the match.......

New bloke at work, who's now one of our Friday lunchtime drinking partners, is english. His grand dad was welsh. Told me a story at lunch today about how his grand dad, when a baby, was found in a cardbox box :headshake: on the front doorsteps of a house in Haverfordwest, the occupants of which adopted him.

Was it a good game, User?

Wow what a game by Italy. They played with real guts and character. Ireland v. lucky. I will look forward to the final match in the 6 nations against England. Grand Slam and Triple Crown a real possibility if Ireland continue to play that way.

Didn't they though! I think the Irish got a 'get out of jail' card there. It wasn't the only card they sound have got either ;) they certainly seemed to be being penalised an awful lot!

I really like watching the Italians play, and have done for a few years now, there's such passion there. And each year they seem to be making fewer and fewer mistakes and becoming more of a team to be reckoned with.

That was alright. Winning in Cardiff.

I just watched the game on iPlayer, bigtoe, and, yes, Bradley Davies was playing well. But he didn't influence the vital playmaking that wins or loses games like this and so the MotM went to Hook. It may have been the lackadaisical welsh defence that gave Hook this award, but he exploited all the openings for sure.

North Wales just over the border, little town called Buckley. that part of N Wales was a scouse overspill even back then with about 50/50 english/welsh. Mum was Welsh, as were 2 grandparents (one on each side strangely)
I too learnt to speak Welsh better than most of the native Welsh, was particularly adept at expletives

and yes it was a quiet lot in there .

Wales are in for shock against Italy if they don't improve a huge amount. still thats what regions does for you.
lets hope we beat the Sweaties in the next match, will give the team a little boost. although if last years match was anything to go by its gonna be a tight match
