Scotland looked good even without Hogg. I always like to see a Northern hemisphere side beat a Southern one.
I was lucky enough to witness a bit of history today at Murrayfield as Scotland annihilated Australia. I've never seen us play such confident flowing rugby and have to admit my scepticism about Gregor Townsend was totally unfair.
We look a force to be reckoned with and I think the Six Nations could be a cracker. Be a totally different style of play of course but I can see us doing very well.
Sorry, Mr B..The Aussies were 10-12 in front when Kepu was sent off; then Scotland went ahead 17-12 immediately after the sending off, that was the half time score. So a fairly big factor!
Edit... Cross posted with @AndyRM . I will bow to his better knowledge of the game of rugby.
And then of course you have it at the back of your mind that Rolf Harris might be mentioned. The thread title suggested the topic was about antipodean animal abuse.
Your TV's rubbish - I'd get a new one before the 6 Nations starts

What was that doing there? Something left over from a football game perhaps?I stepped on a balloon with a kangaroo printed on it as we were leaving.
I remember a Kiwi telling me that he hated Australia unless they were beating a N Hemisphere team.Almost as good as beating England
Almost as good as beating England
Are you old enough to know?
The most memorable for me was the Grand Slam decider in 1990. Scotland v. England at Murrayfield, and as per usual the English based media had everyone (apart from the Scots) believe that it was just a case of England having to turn up at Murrayfield to collect the Grand Slam title. I was there with 2 of my brothers, and we took umbrage with some dodgy types who were selling T-shirts from the back of vans with the text on the shirt being "England Grand Slam Winners 1990". These were on sale BEFORE the game! I hope they sold plenty of their shirts before the game, because they certainly weren't in great demand AFTER the gameWell, it's a nice joke, but it was only 8 or 9 years ago that the Scots won a pushing contest in a downpour in Scotland. Certainly, Scotland wins over England have been a rarity for 20 years or more.
