no chance lol ;) it's abt 20 mile there n back and with my shift earlies I start 8am if im on lates I Finnish at 9.15pm haha on the bus I don't get in til gone 10.40 as it is
Try it: after a week or so you will find 10 miles each way on the bike is faster than the bus (es). After a month or so, you will get to know the shortcuts, half your commute time. I bet you that you will leave the house at 7 get to work at 8 with time to spare. Late shift you will be home by 10.15 max.
Try it while the weather is nice, you might end up doing it all winter :hello:

Go for it, my commute is the same distance and on earlies i start at 7 am, on nights i finish at 5 am .The traffic is light and it is the best part about going to work.

I will say it again: go for it! I work in catering, anything between 5 to 15 hours shifts, running allover the place. Cycling to work is the best thing: faster than the buses, you are not tied down to timetables, no paying taxis when there's no public transport, great fun, and you loose weight without trying. Do it twice a week to start with, you'll never look back!

might try the commute when i feel more confidant in riding further distances ;) x
