Hi Andy.
As it happens I bought 1" threaded steerer forks to put on a Dawes Galaxy frame. The shop that sold them to me told me they came from another UK frame maker of tourers. They said it was probably something like a Claud Butler Dalesman. They are CroMo steel with low rider rack bosses. Never been used, although there is surface rust as you can see. I took these photos today after seeing your wanted posting.
The steerer is 198mm long, of which 51mm is threaded.
£45. If you buy them I'll just get other 1" forks. In fact I'd prefer blue or black instead of silver.
