I'm posting this on behalf of a colleague at work - his ageing Dawes Galaxy frame has rusted around the BB and he's trying to get it functional and is going to put a threadless BB in.
This requires a chainset with a square taper fitment - he's currently got an octalink (I think).
So, preferably looking for a triple (50t max) or a compact double with square taper fitment.
