That’s the best I’ve seen, so definitely a contender and thanks. Ideally I’d like the rear pockets to be like those on the cycling jerseys, you can just stuff in. Also packable.

I have three that I’ve bought over the years, they either dont meet my current brief or just too large. I forget the brands, but they we’re the first I started looking for.

I’ve just found Castelli do one but at £135 it’s a bit out of my comfort zone.

Might be worth looking at proviz, red or yellow, highly visible with the pockets you desire. A lot cheaper than Castelli and better than amazon/ temu stuff.

I have a a very similar one from Lusso to this Lusso Gilet mine is the bright blue and has a zipped pocket, I'm not sure if this newer version does. Galibier offer several Galibier gilets I have the Izoard Pro for deep winter riding and Izoard Insulated Reversible for spring.

I'm happy to recommend both companies. I'm not sure if these meet your Hi Viz requirement. I don't believe in Hi Viz so I haven't bothered about it. I either wear my brightly coloured gilets on top or the black ones underneath a bright jacket. I find a gilet is more effective under a jacket than on top.

To the YFMB, whilst the proviz is highly hiviz in the dark the coloured ones look perfectly normal colours, red, yellow etc till you hit it with low light and headlights etc then its like a beacon.
