The mudguards off my Kaffenback frame are too short for my new frame. Anyone have any spares or can tell me where to buy some?

Hi,

I may be able to help (collect all sorts of bits off bicycles) what type/length do you need and what fixings?

From hub to fork crow mount measures 37cm. I think stays over 35cm would do the job.

I also need a fork crown mount (think that's the right term). The fork has an unthreaded hole front to back and it looks like a bolt needs to go through there and grab the mount tab on the mudguard. Ideally with those curved washers on either side. If you have spares of those that would be brilliant.

I'm not too worried what type of fitting the stays have on them, even just a plain metal loop is fine.

I need the LBS to tap out a hole for the rack mount at the back where the thread has gone (previous frame owner). I might see if they have any spares in their box.

I can definitely find 4 x 35mm stays if that's sufficient?
I can almost certainly find a suitable bolt and washers.....(may take some rummaging)
You can probably get away with using smaller bolts at the back for your rack mounts - without having them tapped. I will see what I can find.
If you PM me your address, I will try and sort in the next day or two....

Glad you are sorted, but for the future, SKS and Zefal both do spares and are stocked by many online retailers
