Hi all, I travelled the BVW yesterday and discovered that they were 'mowing' the hedges and spreading thorns all over the cycle track. Our group of 4 riders got 8 punctures between us. Also the tunnel is closed due to 'falling ice'. Best avoided for a while...shame.

I use the BVW to get to and from some of the other bridle ways or to Pitsford for a circuit and a coffee.
When they cut the hedges it's a nightmare!! Even with Slime tubes I have to pump the tyres up a few times until they seal up.
You can avoid the tunnels by going over the top, but it's more fun going through them.

If you are at the southern end, it's been tarmac'd now. (Windhover to Kings Heath)
