All very interesting...I am one of the unfortunate who read the 2nd and 3rd books in this story. they were awful if you ask me! its been a while but I'm sure I remember some kind of religeon or belief thats to do with a guy walking up a hill and having rocks thrown at him? The Batty briefcase and then there's the way that deckard gets to talk to sebastian...

Mercerism, which was quite prominent in the original book. Don't see anything wrong with it myself. What mercerism represents is another whole topic in itself. Think we could do with a religion with empathy boxes where people empathise with people cycling up hills.
