We found this in the bottom of our dishwasher a short while ago. (Not the 10p.....that's there for sizing purposes, but thanks in advance for the suggestion! )

It looks like a ferrule or summat to me.

It's rigid plastic with a shiny silver chrome coating. There's two lugs sticking out of the underneath to hold it in place (failed) on something.

Nothing we've bunged through has anything missing.

We've checked the utensils. Nothing missing.
Can't be for oven stuff as it would melt.

Checked granddaughters Disney cups etc. Nothing missing.

Clearly it is a letter O. It probably from your Rolls Royce, it must have came off and got caught in the cloth when your manservant was cleaning it. Sack him.
