Was it cruel to laugh?

On the way home to night, 3 ninjas came out of a side road on the pavement as I was passing on the road. For some reason the first ninja stopped, perhaps my lights startled them, faced with the unexpected stop of the first ninja in the near pitch black the two following ninjas went into the back. I found my self smiling at somebody else's misfortune

I had some little 'rotund' oik (about 12-13)on an BMX giving me verbal's last night - just pulled off the main road,, onto a busy side street, the kid is deliberately riding all over the road, sees me and carries on swerving all over the road (car behind me) - anyway gives me some verbals, I tell him to 'f off', and carry on....through two width restrictions and over a railway bridge.

Come to my right turn, and see a large Merc Sprinter waiting to pull out, I slow to a stop, and wave the van out. Van pulls away slowly..... next second, little oik comes flying past me, on wrong side of road, giving more verbals, then straight in front of the van..... I mumble 'fing idiot, then shout...."Go on then you idiot, just get yourself killed by the van......." kid realises what he's done pulls up to the pavement, and the van driver then let's him have it with his air horn..."BEEEEEEP"

The kid was lucky, I had to smirk, am I evil though ?

Riding home from work tonight some ninja goes to cut across of me from one pavement to the other then sees me [I got my P7 flashlight today ] stops and falls of his bike uttering some drunken swear words. A grin appeared immediately .
