I suppose you have to ask yourself why he didn't stop? It could be perfectly innocent of course or he could have been reluctant to stop for a whole variety of reasons - he could have been drinking, he may not be taxed/insured or he may have done similar stuff and be known to the police.
I would call into my local police station and have a chat and let them decide if it's worth looking into further.

I reported it using the 'tell the police' thing on the Suffolk Constabulary website.

Could call. I would expect the police to check the reg details and it might give them reason to pay the chap a visit. It may have been he didn’t stop because he had no tax and insurance, or even licence.

I would say do what you think is right. If it would make you feel better, then report it.

After the ped saying he is okay and doesnt want to take it any further, then I would leave it as that. I would have given my details to the ped though.

Just as every copper shouldn't assume we are all criminals, we shouldn't assume all coppers are numpties.

The report could be a useful bit of intelligence to the officers who do know what they are about.

More likely to be of no use, but for the sake of a few minutes on copper.com the report is worth making.

From that video, it looks like the guy ran out in front of the car. It is possible that the fall was the result of him running to avoid being hit (rather than of being hit by the car). If this was the case, the car driver may not have seen him fall at all (from the car's point of view, he hit the ground behind the van and so would not have been visible in the rear view mirror) and would have just been swearing at a numpty ped for a close call.
It may have looked different in real life, though. I'm just raising one possibility.

Yeah, there's no doubt at all he got hit by the car, as I heard a bang in person, and you can also see on the video how his right->left momentum got redirected in my direction of travel, which caused him to crash into the front of the parked van. His leg was also hurt from being hit by the car. Not a big impact, but still an impact. I'm leaning towards the ped being an utter numpty and completely responsible for that collision, but it doesn't detract from the driver being awful for not stopping.
