Not a typo.
I know the bug and creepy crawly season is over but I have had several encounters with flying insects over the last season and previous.
Bloody frightening when something gets in your lid then buzzes like mad.

Anyone know or used any quick fixes to perhaps mesh up the front vents on my Kask Vertigo.

Expanding foam.

Time you enjoyed wasting was not wasted
Happened to me last year, luckily I didn't get stung, someone said get a hair net from Superdrug and put it over the helmet - one day I might get round to it.

Some helmets now have mesh built in.

Cycling cap? Duct tape? I feel your pain, when I brought my lid I stupidly chose bright yellow and last summer every bee and wasp made a bee-line (pardon the pun) for my head.

One helmet of mine has integral mesh.
I have used the Ena Sharples method on another helmet, but they’re a bit flimsy and soon break.

You could cut down the buzz with a carbon frame

Considered the hair net thing and sticking on the inside. Any safe adhesive that wouldn’t damage the helmet. I have visions of my lid melting before my eyes.

My las helmet has the integral mesh, didn’t stop me getting stung. The wasp hit me in the gap between my helmet and my glasses, sting8ng me on the eye brow before falling in to my glasses buzzing about frantically and stung me again on my eye lid before I managed to throw my glasses into the field and I ended up on the wrong side of the road. Luckily nothing was coming the other way. Funny now but not at the time

Oh and I managed to find my glasses

A buff keeps insects off your scalp; there's nothing worse than the feeling of something crawling around between helmet and scalp.
