Watching DVD's on tablet

Can anyone help me, is there a way i can convert some of my DVD's onto a format so i can watch them on my phone or tablet.

Got various dvd's for Christmas and never have time to watch them at home.

I use Handbrake to rip DVDs for my tablet.

I run it in Ubuntu Linux but there is a Windows version and a Mac OS version

I use Airvideo for my iPad , means I can store all my films on my main home pc and watch them from any where in the world via the interweb.

Only if the PC is on and the web is working at home

I rip them with handbrake and move them across to the tablet.
Netflix subscription is so much easier though

Try the freemake video converter (make sure you untick all the bonus software boxes during installation) as it's quicker than handbrake unless you have a quad core processor
