Hi, does anybody have any recommendations for keeping my feet dry in this heavy rain. I am getting a bit tired of carrying around spare socks and putting damp shoes on..!

I use road cycling shoes with Look - Keo Classic pedals.

Thank you!

Cheers mate, I've just bought a pair of these:

I did consider the Sealskinz as i know the waterproof socks are good but the customer reviews didn't appear to be very good...

I would probably recommend overshoes in accordance with waterproof socks (probably sealskinz) – Sealskinz are a good product but aren't waterproof enough to be used as sole protection.

My sealskinz socks let the water in, but stay warm. I use them in conjunction with goretex shoes, but to be fair the water gets in by running down my legs and in via the socks. Don't know why I bother really, although folk suggest using a gasket made from an old motorcycle inner tube, or a turn or two of gaffer tape.

You might try neoprene socks - available from dive shops. Not the most pleasant sensation but you will not be cold as long as you have sufficient space in your shoes so as to ensure good circulation.
