I am saving up for a decent road bike at the moment, so can't get anything too expensive for the time being.
What I need are: waterproof trousers and waterproof overshoes. Can anyone reccomend a good budget range?
And sizing: I take a medium in shorts,
recently bought the Halfords basic ones in medium and they fit fine, so do I get medium in the waterproofs or go a size larger? And would I do the same with arm and leg warmers?
The socks: I am a size 12 in shoes, but 6-11 socks fit me (I'm definately NOT size 11 though, shoes are far too ight in 11), do I get the same sizing?
Also, I've got a couple of questions about cycling socks: do they keep you cooler than normal socks? Plus can you get them in normal sock length rather than ankle socks?
