Hi All,
I work in southwark, and live just south of Watford. I want to cycle to work, but don't fancy the commute back as it mainly up hill on the way back. I used to cycle to Shepherds bush and back on my comet ridgeback, but southwark is just that bit too far.
The dilema I face is, do I try and get a folding bake, (Dacon Cadenza I was thinking or similar), so I can get it on the train on the way home. But would this be suitable for the 19 mile commute there?. OR do I splash out on some decent road bike and hope that this will enable me to get up stanmore hill in a shorter time on the way home?.
Anyone else managed to get round this kind of problem?.
Cheers
