It is an interesting bunch of theories that manifest themselves in this bike - asymmetric qualities abound.
I was reading the real paper this morning (Friday 18th Dec's paper ) and stumbled upon the drawing - incorrectly notated but that's nit-picking.

I was previously reading the article by Harry Pearson "in praise of" old gits, commenting on Ryan Giggs' achievements.

And, as some of you will be tussling with wrapping paper, cardboard and suchlike, why not relax and enjoy Kiel Johnson making a camera, and see other cranky stuff here.

Annotations seem to be in the right places, although I am not sure that the seatpost annotation makes sense:

Exactly Cunobelin - seat 'stay' I think. In the printed version it says "The right seatstay is bigger and stronger than the left" - still pointing at the seatpin - hence 'nitpicking'.

Looking at it in detail, I'm sure this is something many of us can derive benefit from in the new year. For example, if you already have a good bike, but didn't think to fatten out the lower left top tube and right fork leg to balance out the inadvertent pull on the handlebars, simply spend the time between now and new year's with your left arm bound to your side. The resulting muscle wastage will not only improve stability and protect the frame, it will also give considerable weight savings.

If the balance still isn't correct, further micro adjustments can be made by adding rings to the opposing ear, or shaving off a bit of lobe. The latter may also improve aerodynamics.

Guys, you may mock but this is the future, I tested this extensively in a wind tunnel designed to duplicate my commute. The results were conclusive, for each extra £100 I spend on obtaining this bike, I will shave off 100th of a second per mile. In real world terms this could make me as much as 10 seconds faster. I think the benefits are clear and your technophobic prehistoric attitudes unwarranted.

Careful though - dont you need to take the weight of the drivetrain on the RHS of the bike into account to get this correct?

Yeh, but it's a very nice bike though.............. The Willier Cento Uno has an asymmetric chain stay ONLY..... dribble......
