Living in Burnley it is impossible to avoid hills whichever way I go but trying to get used to them.

A mate did it the other month. He's 16 stone & had a crappy Triban 3. No problem.

It seems in Flamborough you can't get out of the place without having to go up some sort of bloody hill!!

Thanks for the reply. Think I will be using my hybrid (diamondback contraflow) but may use a road bike depending on if I can afford a n+1

Hi all back off holiday now so time to start planning. Has anyone done this route over 3 or 4 days and camped along the route. If so any advice regarding cycle friendly campsites not adverse to 1 night stays would be appreciated.

Just been working out training programme for my mate. He has not done any cycling of any note in a long time so working on a 20 week programme starting at 5 miles so hopefully this won't put him off any thoughts
