No problem as long as you've washed them.

I learned the hard way not to do stuff to my bike wearing cycle gear. I have used lighter fluid to get oil off quite successfully (we're not smokers, my husband keeps a bottle for cleaning stuff).

White spirit works equally as well. Used it on some normal clothes too.
