there is a computer programme/program ( WGAF  ) that came up with the ultimate daily wail headline. I think i can add to it

Immigrant Cyclists with cancer lower house prices whilst eating swan.

Purveyor of fine nonsense
The "worst rated" comment on there was given -247 by Rick from Coventry, who says, "All bikes should be banned, as a road tax payer, I can't stand cyclists and how they think they own the road. Who do they think they are taking up most of a lane that I'm paying for?". He's either a troll, a 'tard, or both.

Having read the top and bottom rated comments on the article, I'd say that this is a WIN for sensible people, I think. The "Rick from Coventry" types are few and far between nowadays, even on the Daily Wail, and quite frowned upon.

Its quite amazing (or maybe not ;) ) that an ill informed piece of written diarrhoea on the subject of health, generates more written diarrhoea on another topic!

I won't waste any time on the Daily Whail.

This sums them up nicely.

The Daily Mail song-safe for work

That song is brilliant. Thanks for the link.

For example we have a real shortage of trained apprentices in the uk, where did that problem come from i wonder?
It wouldn't have anything to with what happened here in the early 1980s would it?

No, it is probably the immigrants at fault for that too.

Of course it's nothing to do with the early 80s. How dare you. Any DM reader will tell you that all policies and government actions then were ordered by divine intervention.

I'd better stop then

guess being 40 stone is better for my health eh ?

Get off that bike and stop being stupid. It won't take you long to find a diet to get you back up to that 40 stone, and there are plenty of 4WD Chelsea Tractors you can buy that will fit you like a glove when you get there.

Cyclists like you gb155 are damaging the pension system, stop it now.

GrumpyGregry

Here for rides.
Dear Rick, I ride like I own the roads because I do, I'm a taxpayer.

So glad the web site subs sorted that article's headline out this morning from the gabled nonsense that was on there in the wee small hours

Adding up the Daily Fail's statistics, I've got about a 120% chance of dying on the road from heart attack, collisions or getting cancer from car fumes.

I stopped listening to them a LONG time ago

I'd best tell the nurse at my surgery she's wrong as is her computer software, when I went for my 'over 40s' healthcheck according to my lifestyle and family medical history I'm 0.2% at risk of developing heart disease.
What do I do? Give up cycling to work in traffic or cycle even more miles?

This is an example of "bad science". Probably people will ignore it anyway. They'll cycle to save money and keep fit or they'll drive to stay warm and dry but whatever the DM or any other rag prints will make no difference one way or the other.
