Well just an average weekend really , back off holiday to find my new bike waiting , so a bit of bike building , post holiday shopping , and giving the dog a well needed bath. On holiday we found a great bike shop called in and bought a few bits in the shop the Mrs spotted a bike and well once home having found the local trek shop. she said let's call in we just went looking The next thing she was off on a test ride and well she bought it ....

Not wanting to leave empty handed she bought me some clippers pedals well turns out she's ended up with a better lid then me...

So this cycling is sure getting even more expense hehe

She will never be one for a road bike mind you it's a hybrid she went for she like the idea of us both going off on rides along cycle paths and stuff. Having explained my road bike is not the best for that the way is open for me to talk of N+1 .

The pedals are called clipless by the way. You need shoes to go with (2 or 3 Bolt depending on which pedals you got)

When buying shoes I'd think about going to a shop and trying a few on rather than buying online. Some shoes come in odd sizes and Shimano shoes are sized for "the borrowers"

Yes that's the plan then look online for good price. I have to agree re shimano having tried them on.I had all on to get them off

At least ask the bike shop to price match rather than just taking the pi$$ Planet X have a decent range I should assume of 2 & 3 bolt ones
