Feel really bad-STILL-about a little old lady who tried to push me off the cycle path with her walking stick shouting "you should be on the road dear"(I had actually stopped to let her pass as its not a very wide path)And I replied "and you should be in a cemetary Dear"as i rode off (id had a bad day:angry:)
Thinking back it was not a very nice thing to say tho,she was about 90:blush:

That's awfully bad but funny.:laugh:

Not on the commute but on my ride last night I averaged 18.3mph for the last 6 miles despite the red lights ;-( When the first set goes green a ned (Scottish chav) came round the corner on the wrong side of the road against the lights mouthing something at me. All I could say in response was "what?????" :bravo: Now that's a weak comeback.

Iv had some chavvy girls trying to scare my horse tho and i just turned him round and rode right up to them(hes a big lad)and said "sorry-didnt hear what you were shouting" As he was snorting and trying to do ballet....they soon shifted:D

Horses are one of the things i really dont mess with. I was fine with them, until i was cycling along in a group, we went to pass one and it freaked out. Thought it had calmed down and a few went to go past it, as i went past it turned around and was very very nervouse, i thought it was gonna kick.
It didnt, but since then i always make sure they are not going to kick and are fine before i go past them.

I would of just shouted some abuse at the chav.
Ive had some chavs try and play chicken with me before. I just sat up, crossed my arms and looked at them with a grin on my face:evil: They moved out the way.
Ive had kids shout stuff from the pavement, i either shout something back or ignore them.
Its usualy the fat small ones aswell:wacko:

When i was in year 11, this twat in the year tried to play chicken with a guy in a big old 4X4, he was on a BMX.
The outcome?
Well, the kid was in hospital over the time the GCSE exams were on:laugh:
Not the smartest of kids:laugh::tongue:
Last time i saw him, he was charging around on some moped. If he gets a proper motorbike i doubt he will last long, if hes still alive now
