As one recently returned to cycling I am wondering if cycles should come with a "Wealth Warning"?
I acquired a cycle cheaply enough. But it needed new tyres, so I thought, why not fit new tubes as well? Then the brakes needed some attention, so replaced them. Of course need a pump to take with me. Lights were a good idea. A tool bag and a few tools seemed sensible. Now wondering about a mirror, and bell or hooter? This was supposed to be cheap local transport! Does this affliction of spending on the bike come to an end!

Put the bike back in the shed and walk away if you ever want a healthy bank balance again.

There is a reason while cycle shops are called 'dealers'.
