Wearing a Buff

I've found out a new way of wearing a Buff (or rather two Buffs).

I'd love to be able to wear one just folded in two like a skull cap. Unfortunately my head is the wrong shape at the front! Also I can't be bothered wearing contact lenses lately and specs look ridiculous with a close fitting skull cap Buff.

I took one buff, black, and put it on like a balaclava. Then took the other which is a very fetching red Paisley design, halved it and put that one on like a skull cap, craftily folding it to avoid the skinhead look. Voila - looks a bit different. You could if you wanted, bring the bottom bit up over your mouth if you don't mind having wet Buff around your face. However, like that it looks a bit like a (dare I say it) an eastern sort of headdress!

I'll try it when I next venture out after the ice has cleared around where I live.

I have one of me wearing very little if you're interested, Ape;)

And once again the image of rich drifts across the psyche, accompanied by the auto-suggest of cheese and onion flavouring...;)

Actually, talking about buffs, the C+ freebie is proving to be very handy and good company for the CC one.

Yes, I've been wearing both recently, one as a scarf, one over my ears and head under my helmet.

whoops - Misread that the first time.

As a long term all year motorcyclist, I can assure you all that nothing beats slipping your hands in to a nice warm muff on a cold day.

I now have a buff courtesy of the Jan issue of C+ but I haven't remembered to wear it yet despite plenty of opportunity in the last couple of weeks.
Strolling along today in a bracing northerly it suddenly occurred to me that I had missed a golden opportunity to give it its first outing.
Oh well , maybe tomorrow.
