Wearing Lycra shorts in the office (pre/post commute)

Surely it's just 'showing what you've got' to female colleagues and your boss (and anyone else who wants to look)?

Let's face it, some lycra shorts leave little to the imagination.

Never.

My showers are on the ground floor near the bike parking bay and my desk is on the second floor.

I did once, have to go back upstairs after I'd changed into lycra to collect something that I'd left on my desk; there was only one guy left in the office at the time and he made a 'sexy legs' comment.

Contrary to what us men believe, women are not turned on by tight pants and centre bulges. So they tell us anyway.

Or you've dropped your clean trousers into a patch of oil like I did this morning and have no available alternative!

I forgot my trousers once and spent the day hiding behind my desk in lycra. Only a couple of 'nice legs' comments that day, but several 'I hoped you'd be wearing your shorts again' comments for the next few. Definitely tongue in cheek, but I think they were far less worried about it than I was.

Once I went into work in 'weekend' lycra longs... never again... I seemed to meet everyone I knew in the 100 yards from bike shed to office... baggier stuff for work for me... (though I get some nice comments about my legs when I wear baggy shorts in summer... and I secretly quite enjoy it)

I've served customers that come into my mums shop while I'm opening up in lycra, never really had an issue with it, though maybe its why the old ladies come back
