I'm just curious so I thought I'd do a yenners and create a pointless poll .

I personally take my rings off when going to bed / washing the dishes / having a shower / go cycling etc.

Was wondering how many other people did this or just left e.g. their wedding ring on indefinitely.

There's nothing worse than a soapy ring.

Need more options. I only wear my wedding ring when I'm going out at the weekend or if I'm away somewhere without my wife. I hate rings and it's the only piece of jewelry I own. I don't even have a watch.

I should have done an option for "other" then. Lets just pretend for now as I don't know how to edit a poll / if I even can.

Ring stays on except:
1. Bed.
2. Bread-making.
3. Anything to do with car batteries or similar.

All you H&S-conscious people, explain why no. 3?

I wear a wedding ring otherwise I have to beat them off with a stick and I do remove it for showers, heavy work, etc.

Just call me Chris...
I used to take mine off regularly as I'd never worn a ring before and it fely very unnatural.
Now I've got used to it though I leave it on all the time.

I voted 24/7 because it was closest.

My wedding, signet and late mothers wedding rings stay on 24/7 apart from if I'm doing any activity that might damage me, them or someone else such as martial arts, rock climbing, carrying patio slabs etc.

I'm guessing because you don't want to weld your finger to the +ve terminal

When I got married Mrs RR told me not to bother with a ring because she reckoned it would soon get wrecked. We got hers made by a student at the local art college, gold and titanium band, nice and simple and discrete, cost about £160.
