661-Pete;1043942 3. Anything to do with car batteries or similar. All you H&S-conscious people said:
I don't wear the wedding ring on my finger either, for both electrical safety and getting it caught in rotating machinery. Would end up a ruined and scratched in short time if I wore a ring whilst working on my finger (as well as H&S) so it lives on a chain around my neck.

Rubber watch strap for me as well..

I've seen some horrible injuries caused by the wearing of rings, especialy in the electrical trade but by no means isolated ( get it! )to that industry.

Wedding ring is always on... intentionally bought one with with a low gold content - I think it's 9k white gold - so that I could wear it all the time and it would be strong enough not to get dented and mashed up all the time. If I had a 22k one like the wife, i'd have to keep taking it off as being clumsy man I would eventually damage it in some way.

She being a lady of course is blessed with the lightness of touch that enables her to wear delicate items.
