Just in case anyone hasn't noticed, for the south east at least, the northerly wind which brought the recent chill has swung round to the west and we'll be back to a more seasonal temperature for the rest of the week.

I've enjoyed the temperature but I'd love a few hours of rain to clear the salt and grit from the roads.

Aye, headwind both ways today, although the forecast of +8 for tomorrow morning's ride is 12 degrees better than it was when I set off today.

It was -3 in Swindon this morning but as far as I could tell no salt or grit on the roads. Probably because the roads have been dry for the past few days so not much point, maybe.

Cold and Icy up in Manchester, but we've not had a bad run - been lots windier in Scotland. Sunny as hell here today...

Rain can go and do one though..... off work till 21st March.

Beautiful ride home this evening. 5 degrees, not a breath of wind and, because I left work after 7, I only had half a dozen cars pass me the whole way. It took 10 minutes longer than usual as I was in no hurry to be anywhere different.

It's been beautiful the last couple of days, not a cloud in the sky and a bit warmer too, came home by the scenic route today and I didn't even get lost
Looks like rain and windy for the club audax on Sunday though

I'm on the bike and heading home with a computer and no waterproof rucksack at 4pm. It'll be pouring here by then.

I think I've got about 30 Sainsburys carriers in my desk, I'm sure that'll make it waterproof.
