Spots of rain in Derby, just as my weather station predicted. Barometer's dropped like a stone this last 36 hours.

Snow in Edinburgh this morning. Nice sunny day, though, and snow is all gone now.

We had a few spots of rain this afternoon, but the bigger, blacker clouds were a few miles to the north of us.

The forecast here is for double digit temperatures (in celsius) and cloud tomorrow morning, and a 17mph headwind. I might leave a few hours extra for my commute tomorrow.

We had 23mph winds today, straight into it on the way home, bloody hard work!!
Tomorrow's meant to be the same,

at least I missed most of the showers this morning, just got caught in one 2 minute burst.

Aye, and my speed is low enough that a headwind barely registers.

The run home tonight was into a chilly northerly, which will probably mean a few pockets of frost in the morning, but it should be mostly dry down here in the bottom right corner, unlike most places to the north.

It'll be a wet run on Friday, though I think the high pressure over here by should make for a good weekend.

Since looking at the BBC weather forecast on (dry) Valentine's Day I've tended to be a little sceptical about forecasts...
