Breathe deep and slow in between sips of Ovaltine, you'll feel better tomorrow:smile:.

We were promised a Cyclone this weekend - all we have is "a bit of mist"!

I feel cheated!!!

Someone did an experiment a few years ago. It ran along the lines of predicting the weather by saying tomorrow's weather will be exactly the same as today's'.
This was found to be 60% accurate.
This was a greater degree of accuracy than the Met Office were claiming for their forecasts.

Dear BBC. Instead of changing the weather forecast every fekking time I look at it, why not just say "we're not sure. It might snow where you live, it might not. Be prepared.!"

The Beeb have gotten worse over the last 3-4 years imo - no idea why.

We were forecast up to 10cm snow today and have had precisely zero flakes.

Living near to the mountains of Cumbria I tend to use the Mountain Weather Information Service* forecast which is much more accurate.

*Also available for the lumpier bits of Scotland and Wales.

BBC are giving it at -9 here tomorrow yet XC have it at only -2. I suppose I'll just need to wait and see if I'm taking the car or bike to work.
