A search of the Digiguide database for "Britain weather" turned up nothing out of 149,522 programmes.

However, there was a programme on C4 (and thus on 4OD) called "Is our weather getting worse" for an hour starting at 8pm tonight. It'll be repeated on More4 on 26th and 29th December at 19:55 and again on C4 at 18:40 on 5th January.

It's not on 4OD yet, but it's marked as "coming soon".

I thought it was interesting, a bit overly dramatic but at least they didn't seem to do the recap every ten minutes
'because you are too thick to remember what we just said'
or should it be the
'this programme is only ten minutes long so we are going to repeat ourselves a lot to fill up the time'

anyway, I digress:rolleyes:

Some interesting things about weather and I was fascinated by what has happened around the country this year, it easy to forget. I think they introduced the first Hebden Bridge flood by saying it was a Yorkshire dales village!!

They did, though I think of it as a small town rather than a village (population 5,000-odd) and the Dales start about 25 km/15 miles north of here.

There was some interesting footage of the local floods though. I'd actually missed the worst flooding because the water levels rose and receded again so quickly. By the time I went out to take a look, most of the water had gone and people were clearing the debris and piling up their ruined possessions.

I used to work and live in Littleborough so I know the area well. It's strange that I'm even closer to the dales here (in the south lakes) yet I still think of the Dales as being a long way away!
