Thanks Admin, back to reality.

At Vernon's recommendation, I've downloaded the Serif Page Plus free version and it looks like it does just what I want. Website for Dummies.
I'm quite tempted to cough up the not unreasonable £9.99 for the full version. If I end up with something half decent I'll post a link so the techies can have a good laugh!

We've all got to start somewhere ...

I was clearing out my old office PC a couple of years ago and found the very first web site I ever designed ... boy were things much simpler then ...:biggrin:

I have been into PC's for years, but only very recently tried my hand at web design. Would I get pelted with tomatoes if I mention Microsoft Expression, I think it's a replacement for Frontpage. It seems ok but the WYSIWYG doesn't always come out right on the published page. I'm sure there is better stuff out there for beginners though.

The only usable web development tool which Microsoft has ever produced is Notepad ...

Fixed that for you. ;)

(And apologies to Admin and the OP. I should have left it.)

Do let us know how you get on with Serif. We have a potential client who uses it, so would be interested.
