Morning

Dark. It's calmed down outside at least.
Today: stuff + head cold.
Tricky off to Tricky Olympics for Tricky people.
Her first priority "What's for lunch?"
That's my girl.

First: coffee

There's a promise of wall to wall sunshine over here but the reality is overcast; hopefully that means they were overplaying the ice card.

The search for the perfect jacket might head towards Alpkit in a 'too little too late' attempt to enjoy it whilst it's here.

All plans are, of course, subject to the appropriate coffee scheduling.

Up early to see the current wife off for the day, can remember the wedding vow of you must warm the car up for your bird, but apparently it’s there

Work stuff with a run later and maybe the last Wednesday night in the local pub

Is Alpkit going?

Does she not know where the heated seat button is? 🙂

Morning Workers and Shirkers,

Decent night out last night despite lack of grog.

Dry but misty here. We should be getting new neighbours (3 doors down) today on the close as the last lot moved out yesterday while in the middle of divorcing. Have heard from one of the last lot they're not psychos or weirdos so that's a good start. Junior still not been asked back to jury duty this week so looks like she'll get off without having to hear a single case in the 2 weeks. Currently wfh and getting ready for the next round of annual appraisals for the minions, better crack on.

Thinking I might do a slow trundle this afternoon if I can think of a regular parcours that won't be impassable at some point. This was just the other side of Topsham yesterday (not my photo, or my house) on the road to Exmouth. The River Clyst seems to have ambitions.

Meanwhile, I'm tending to my inner rough weather with more scrambled egg, and coffee.

bright but nippy

braved the soggy roads, aside from the heaving traffic, umpteen temporary traffic lights, idiots, and various other annoyances, it was ok

coffee now

If they are psycho's you won't find out for a time.....

Into town again early, usual errands. Home to a warmish afternoon, elected to ride in the shed again. Today's effort was a virtual climb of Bealach Na Ba. Blimey, that's a tough one, although quite pleased to have made it up and over without stopping.

Mooched about in the deck chair to recover. BBQ lamb and salad for dinner.
